Picture Of The Day - 17 MAY 2012 "Flame On"

For the most part, you may notice that I steer away from showing or talking about our work. Today I looked at this photo and felt that LTCOL C caught the essence of what we do best. Shifting to black and white and concealing the particulars of the operation also makes me feel that this photo is appropriate for general audience consumption. Frankly, our job is a bit of a double-edge sword. We enjoy working in the O.R. and positively affecting the life of our patients. But to do it means that someone has to get seriously wounded. It's a bit of a perplexing feeling that I believe all of us have.

MODIFICATION

WAIVER
